What the numbers say
- 1688 looks cheaper and starts at 1 piece because many sellers there serve Chinese online shops with drop-shipping. You still need someone in China to pay, receive, check and export the goods.
- Yiwu booths ask for more per design but sell many designs side by side, so a 20-SKU mixed order is easy to put together in one market.
- Alibaba.com adds English service and platform payment protection; the “verified” badges are paid memberships with an audit, not a check of your particular order.
